Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager and Virtual Assistant to oversee our Instagram and TikTok accounts, as well as assist with various administrative and e-commerce tasks. This individual will be responsible for posting engaging content, responding to customer inquiries, driving growth and engagement for our hair and braiding store, and providing virtual assistance as needed. This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a content calendar with regular posts that showcase our products, services, and customer experiences.
  • Create visually appealing, relevant, and shareable content tailored to our target audience.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize engagement and grow the business pages.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent brand messaging across platforms.
  • Stay updated on trends, especially in the beauty, hair, and braiding industry, to implement new strategies that can drive engagement.
  • Use Instagram and TikTok growth strategies to increase followers and drive traffic to our store.
  • Assist with e-commerce tasks, including managing online orders, customer communications, and other administrative duties.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed to support business operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing and growing business pages on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices for engagement.
  • Experience in the beauty, hair, or fashion industry is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
  • Creative thinking with a passion for content creation and storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proof of experience required: Please provide examples of past social media work, including account growth metrics and engagement results, for business pages you have managed.
