Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Pharmacist to join our dynamic team.
- The Procurement Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the purchase and supply of pharmaceutical products, ensuring the highest quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining inventory levels to avoid shortages.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding pharmaceutical procurement.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy, finance, and operations departments to forecast demand and manage budgets.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, product availability, and new suppliers.
- Receive products from vendors and ensure timely delivery of emergency and routine requisitions.
- Participate in audits and ensure proper documentation of all procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, supply chain, or a related role.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory management, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
