Job Brief
As a Sales Executive, your responsibility is to execute all sales activities, optimizing business opportunities within your designated area under general guidance and supervision. You will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities through the sale of rooms, meeting spaces, and catering services. You will play a key role in attracting and retaining clients, meeting sales targets, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Other key responsibilities included the following:
- Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales
- Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts’ managerial and departmental executives for comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set
- Solicit and serve transient and group business and meetings
- Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up-selling opportunities whenever possible
- Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of properties’ unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies
- Formulate corporate offer letters yearly contracts and any other required business correspondence
- Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and/or direct mail
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5 years of experience in sales & and marketing service is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Good computer skills and a perfect command of English are a must.
