Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify through consultation clients’ requirements, approximate budget, timetable, and possible needs for future expansion.
- Create detailed plans integrating engineering, electrical, and HVAC considerations.
- Control project from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design.
- Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
- Make on-site visits to check on project status and report on project.
- Modify new or existing plans as required.
- Prepare scale drawings and contract requirements and submit them for bids.
- Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals.
- Follow architectural trends and advancements.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture required, Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Active board licensure is required.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Problem-solving skills.
- Good powers of observation.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSA)
- Extremely proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and consultation skills.
- Ability to translate client ideas into visual and/or tangible references such as drawings or models.
- Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, industry trends, and technological advancements.
