Job Summary
We are looking for a competent HR Executive whose skills cut across vital facets of HR functions. Including but not limited to — recruiting and onboarding of new employees, HR systems, processes, payroll. Finance and database management, fostering positive work culture and overseeing training and development. As an HR Executive, you will bridge the gap between management and employees, assist with developing and implementing HR policies, strategies and initiatives in alignment with the firm’s objectives to drive smooth operation within the firm; between its employees and management.
Core Responsibilities
- Enhance the existing and cover any gaps in HR policies and procedures to support the company’s strategic objectives and ensure compliance
- Reporting to management and providing decision support through intelligent HR KPI Reporting and Dashboarding using MS PowerBI or MS Excel
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market, including conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and onboarding new employees
- Creating and maintaining a talent/skill matrix to identify gaps in available talents and provide corresponding improvement initiatives
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientations and exit processes
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies in all HR processes and procedures
- Process payroll, and benefits administration and collaborate with Finance/Auditors to ensure all govt related remunerations are completed.
- Creating job descriptions for various roles and advertising them on relevant platforms.
- Coordinating training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies
- Manage employee relations initiatives to promote a positive work environment and address employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Drive HR digital transformation in the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the alignment of HR initiatives with business objectives and priorities.
- Planning and forming employee benefits structures.
- Maintaining employee records and compiling reports from the database.
- Evaluating employee performance and recommending training or coaching when necessary.
- Provide support to employees in HR-related functions.
- Handling employee disciplinary issues in a professional and unbiased manner.
- Understanding of budgeting and finance
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: a minimum of an HND/BSc degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
- CIPM/HRCi/PHRi Certification
- Experience: 2+ years as an HR executive or in any similar role.
- Soft Skill: Effective communication, conflict resolution, and time management.
- Understanding of general HR policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with HRM software and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Intermediate use of MS Office Packages (Power Bi, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft SharePoint.
