Details:
We will train the successful candidates for 1 (One) year under the scheme.
At the end of the program, we will offer successful candidates permanent employment with the Edo State Government.
Job Description:
- Analyze and put together estimations and specifications about the piece of land and examine the drainage and runoff.
- Oversee projects and help the Government on budget.
- Restore natural areas like wetlands and streams.
- Clean and maintain landscape areas.
- Help uphold the landscaping design.
- Plant and design new bushes, flowers, plants, and shrubs.
- Supervise maintenance repairs to equipment, landscape structures, outdoor furniture, and walkways.
- Advise the Government on how to look after the landscape.
- Collaborate with garden designers and landscape architects to ensure that the Government finds the job satisfactorily.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) or HND (minimum of Lower Credit) in a related field from a reputable institution.
- Evidence of TOPREC registration is an added advantage.
- Candidates must possess NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- Candidates must be computer literate, with good interpersonal/leadership skills, and the ability to effectively work in teams.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 22-30.
- Experience in using CAD & GIS Tools will be an added advantage.
