PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Carry out maintenance of machines and fabrication of parts to ensure smooth running of machinery within flour operations coverage area
THE JOB
- Conduct timely breakdown repairs on all machinery to maintain smooth system operations.
- Perform a variety of routine maintenance tasks.
- Address incoming work requests promptly and efficiently.
- Communicate any existing or potential issues with supervisors to facilitate proactive solutions.
- Develop and implement preventative measures to minimize machine downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain detailed records of machine service history for reference and analysis.
- Analyze machine test results and make necessary adjustments to meet company specifications.
- Uphold hygienic conditions within the working environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations to prevent injuries.
- Procure materials required for installation from stores as needed.
- Report any quality and food safety issues to the Food Safety Team.
- Report violations of FMN Lifesaving Rules and Behavioral-Based Safety to the Safety Department.

QUALIFICATION
- NABTEB and Technical Certificate.
- 5 O’ level credits including English & Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings.
EXPERIENCE
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the milling industry.
