We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Manager to join our team. The Legal Manager will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters within the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing strategic legal advice to support business objectives.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Management: Manage legal disputes and litigation matters, including working with external counsel as needed.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Corporate Governance: Ensure adherence to corporate governance best practices and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Legal Research: Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization’s operations and provide guidance to management.
  • Training and Education: Provide legal training to employees and management on relevant legal topics and developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or J.D.) from an accredited institution. Admission to the bar in [State/Province/Country] is required.
  • 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a corporate or business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, compliance, and risk management principles.
