JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In the course of the entry-level programme, the trainee associate will be expected to do the following:
- Conduct Legal Research and Analysis to Support case preparation.
- Draft Legal Documents, including Pleadings, Briefs, Contracts and Agreements.
- Assist in the Preparation for Trials, Hearings and Other Legal Proceedings.
- Review and Analyze legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to manage case files and Client documentation.
- Collaborate with Senior Attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments.
- Conduct due diligence in legal matters, such as Corporate Transactions and Mergers.
- Maintain an organized database of legal information and resources.
- Interface with Clients, Witnesses and Other Relevant Parties to gather information and coordinate schedules.
- Provide Legal Advice and Guidance to Clients on Various Legal Matters.
- Conduct Legal Research to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of legal analysis.
- Draft and Review Legal Documents such as Contracts, Agreements and Policies.
- Represent Clients in Court Proceedings, Hearings and Other Legal Forums.
- Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders to develop and implement legal strategies for Companies.
- Ensure Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage and Maintain Legal Documentation and records.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB & BL) with a minimum of a Second Class Qualification or its equivalent and Call to the Nigerian Bar.
- A lawyer with at least 2–3 years of post-call experience. Must have been called as of July 2021.
- Candidate Must have completed the Mandatory NYSC Programme

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal department is preferred but not required.
- Age: 21 years – 27 years
N.B: Applicants with residence in Lagos Mainland and proximity to Ikeja would be preferred.
