We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic Fullstack Web Development Instructor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for training students on web development, preparing them for successful careers in the field. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our development team on exciting software projects (bonus points for mobile development knowledge!
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures on web development concepts, including: HTML5, CSS3 (including frameworks like Bootstrap), JavaScript (ES6+), Backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django), Front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), Version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Develop and maintain course curriculum, ensuring it reflects the latest industry trends.
- Conduct practical coding exercises and assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to help students achieve their learning goals.
- Collaborate with the development team on software projects (optional, but a plus!).
- Participate in curriculum development and refinement.
- Train students in both online and onsite environments, demonstrating flexibility.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of classroom training experience in web development.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality training and demonstrably improving student skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and a desire to empower others.
- Strong understanding of full-stack web development concepts and best practices.
- Experience with a variety of web development languages and frameworks (as listed in responsibilities).
- Fluency in English language (written and verbal).
- A personal developer portfolio showcasing your previous work.
- Mobile development knowledge is a strong advantage.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced learning environment.
- Flexibility to work in both online and onsite settings.
