This role is responsible for inspecting, installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems of both machines and equipment.
Ensure quality and timely delivery of repairs and maintenance works, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Have oversight and leadership to support the general electrical-related issues in the company.
Collaborate across lines (engineering maintenance & production stakeholders) and with other team members as required to maintain cohesive, responsive teamwork that achieves relevant targets.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on electrical system control equipment
Inspects electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify faults, hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
Improve daily electrical maintenance work to minimize breakdown and downtime.
Maintain up-to-date records related to work performed by the team including uncompleted tasks, and leftover materials/spare parts.
Ensure that the team abides by safety regulations, keeping equipment in check to avoid electrical hazards that could cause harm to others.
Prioritize daily work orders according to their level of importance to meet deadlines.
Implement a total planned preventive maintenance program that follows the manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures as designed.
Perform any other assignment by the unit head.
Job Requirements
Minimum academic qualification in Higher National Diploma (Engineering/ Electrical / Electronics) from a recognized institution.
5 years of electrical experience
A strong working knowledge of technical training, fault finding, and troubleshooting techniques is a must.
Good communication (Written and Oral) skills.
High level of personal responsibility and accountability for results.
Good understanding of electrical, electronics, and instrumentation processes.
Ability to interpret electrical, electronics, and instrumentation processes.
Ability to effectively prioritize completing needs and meet deadlines.
