Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional drawing skills, proficiency in 3D modeling and sketching, experience in carpentry work, and a strong background in site and civil project management. This role is open to candidates who reside in or near the Lekki area.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections, using CAD software.
- Develop 3D models and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Produce sketches and renderings to explore design ideas and concepts.
- Utilize carpentry expertise to develop detailed cutting lists for wood production and construction.
- Manage site and civil work projects, including coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to integrate architectural design with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations related to architectural design and construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Experience working with an interior design company.
- 1-3 years of experience in architectural design and construction.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Rhino, or similar).
- Strong drawing and sketching skills, with the ability to create precise and detailed architectural drawings.
- Experience in carpentry work and developing cutting lists for wood production.
- Proven track record in site and civil project management, with a focus on construction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Resides in or near the Lekki area.
