[Vacancy]: Accountant Needed at Dana Group

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to posting general entries, bank reconciliation statements, verifying invoices, payment vouchers, and managing the accounting of fixed assets, depreciation, and provisions.

Key Responsibilities:

General Entries:

• Accurate and timely posting of general ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Bank Reconciliation:

• Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Invoice Verification:

• Thoroughly verify and validate invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve any discrepancies.

Payment Vouchers:

• Process payment vouchers in adherence to company procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.

Fixed Assets:

• Oversee the accounting of fixed assets.
• Monitor additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.

Depreciation and Provision:

• Calculate and record depreciation expenses accurately.
• Assist in the provision of financial information for decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc or HND in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
